Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare of improvement of pulmonary functions by using respiratory intervention program to normal adults for four weeks.

Methods: Thirty students (Male : 6, Female : 12) were randomly placed to three groups: ten students in the free exercise group (Control Group; CG), ten students in Feedback breathing Equipment exercise Group (FEG), and ten students in Diaphragmatic respiration combined Pursed lips breathing exercise (DPG). Vital capacity was measured before and after experiments to check improvement of pulmonary function. The control and experimental groups were implemented for two times twenty minutes a day and four times a week for four weeks in total.

Results: The findings are as follows. First, there were statistically significant differences of FVC, FEV1, MVV in experimental group. Second, there were significantly difference depending on respiratory invention program. FEG group is the most effective exercise program.

Conclusion: These findings confirmed that the respiratory intervention program is effective in improving pulmonary functions of normal adults.
